Tetherline is an AI-for-science research lab headquartered in New York City. We're developing the interface between machine intelligence and the physical laboratory, with a growing network of commercial partnerships spanning small molecules, biologics, and cell therapies. Our first platform enables AI agents in the wet lab, compiling scientific intent into instrument-executable protocols that run autonomously across any experimental facility. Ultimately, Tetherline is building a model for laboratory execution and surfacing the sources of variability that make experiments hard to reproduce. Founded in April 2026, operating a development lab at Industry City, Brooklyn, and expanding into dedicated lab space in NYC by January 2027.
