NewYorkBIO is proud to introduce a dedicated membership category designed to support the incubators and accelerators that fuel innovation across New York’s life science ecosystem. These organizations play a vital role in nurturing earlystage companies, strengthening our talent pipeline, and driving economic growth. Our new Incubator & Accelerator Membership tiers provide tailored access to NewYorkBIO’s statewide network, programming, and advocacy efforts, ensuring that resident companies at the earliest stages of development can fully participate in our community.

This membership category is available to incubators and accelerators that support companies with $7.5 million or less in total funding. Organizations with resident companies exceeding that funding threshold qualify for Corporate (Core) Membership.

Members in this category receive full organizational benefits, including:

Access for all resident companies to NewYorkBIO programs, networking events, and Empire Advantage Savings Program
Eligibility for resident companies to participate in pitch opportunities, roundtables, and innovation showcases
Inclusion in NewYorkBIO’s ecosystem and stakeholder communications

Innovation Starter (1-5)

This tier is designed for smaller incubators and accelerators supporting early-stage startup formation. It provides affordable access to NewYorkBIO membership benefits and ensures emerging innovation hubs can connect their companies to statewide resources, programs, and investors. This membership category is available to incubators and accelerators that support companies with $7.5 million or less in total funding. Organizations with resident companies exceeding that funding threshold qualify for Corporate (Core) Membership.

Organizations with resident companies exceeding that funding threshold qualify for Corporate (Core) Membership.
