NEWYORKBIO AND LIFE SCIENCE CARES NEW YORK ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIP
The collaboration will support community change to address inequality and drive impact
NewYorkBIO, the leading advocate of New York’s life science community, and Life Science Cares today announced a strategic relationship to advance both the growth of New York’s life science ecosystem and support underserved communities across the state.
Through this collaboration, the two organizations will mobilize the life science sector to drive community impact – connecting industry leaders, companies, and institutions with local nonprofit organizations to address critical needs such as access to healthcare, education, workforce development, and economic opportunity. The partnership will also create new opportunities for companies and professionals across the life science ecosystem to engage in volunteerism, philanthropy, and purpose-driven initiatives.
NewYorkBIO unites hundreds of bioscience companies, universities, research institutions, and organizations dedicated to advancing research and delivering new treatments and cures to patients. By connecting entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers, NewYorkBIO fuels collaboration and drives scientific discoveries to improve patient outcomes.

Jennfer Hawks Bland also serves on the Life Science Cares Board of Advisors, further strengthening the alignment between the two organizations and reinforcing a shared commitment to purpose-driven leadership across the life sciences sector.
As part of the strategic partnership, NewYorkBIO and Life Science Cares New York will collaborate on joint programming, including volunteer initiatives and industry engagement opportunities designed to deepen connections between the life sciences sector and the communities it serves.
