Alexis Madara is the Program and Events Manager for NewYorkBIO. She previously worked freelance in design strategy and design research for a variety of companies that dealt in fashion, beauty, food and healthcare. Prior to receiving a Master's of Science degree from the New School in New York in Strategic Design and Management, Alexis worked as a chef in restaurants in Los Angeles and then as a private chef for small events in Hollywood Hills. She currently resides in Manhattan with her husband.
